AmericasMart hosts wholesale markets throughout the year combining gifts, home décor, and apparel. I was given the opportunity to intern in the fashion office for two months. I did everything from answering calls, checking emails, and making copies of documents to booking models, collecting garments, and producing fashion shows.<br /></div><div align="center">Another intern and I were in charge of producing 6 small fashions show during the apparel market as well as a large prom, bridal, and special occasion fashion show, featuring special guest and Project Runway contestant, Jonathan Kayne. I was also in touch with a lot of vendors and reps from all over the world. While I had very long, hectic days during market, it was the best experience I have been given.
